My name is Tiarra Elmore and in 2014 my mom was diagnosed with a thoracic aortic aneurysm. Just 2 years later in 2016 at the age of 29 I was diagnosed with 2 aortic aneurysms with no symptoms, one thoracic, which caused me to have open-heart surgery and one abdominal that I still have today. If I didn’t go to the cardiologist for a checkup when I did, I wouldn’t be here today to tell my story. After my open-heart surgery I began to build myself up physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally!
