Tiarra Elmore

Tiarra Elmore hails from Columbia, South Carolina and now resides in Georgia. Tiarra received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia State University (2010). Subsequently earning her Master of Science in Information Systems with a concentration in Network Management from Strayer University (2013). Shortly before graduating High School, Tiarra joined the United States Army Reserves, as a Human Resource Sergeant, with dedicated service to her country for eight years.

Upon graduating from Virginia State, Tiarra joined Verizon Wireless, where she served in Network Operations from 2010 to 2023. Building generational wealth has always been one of Tiarra’s passions. She began her entrepreneurial career in the beauty industry in 2018 and is the co-owner of Embellish Beauty Bar in her hometown of Columbia, SC. In 2020 she obtained her real estate license in Georgia. Tiarra is also the Co-Founder/Host of More Than Therapy, a village of dynamic individuals who help build each other up by sharing testimonials and triumphs together, encouraging each other and holding each other accountable. Their podcast has been heard in over 25 different countries and can be streamed on most platforms, such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Pandora just to name a few.

Tiarra believes she would not have the tenacity and heart for others, if it were not for her late mother, Althea Elmore. She endured open-heart surgery shortly after her mom’s passing and it gave her strength she never knew she had. In 2023 she launched her new brand Tough Energy, where she will promote the awareness of aortic aneurysms, overall heart health, wellness and fitness.

Not only does she work hard at being an accomplished powerhouse, Tiarra has dedicated much of her time serving as an advocate and resource for others in her communities. Being a change agent, not only for herself, but for others, is something Tiarra made a bold promise to always carry at the heartfelt direction of her beloved mother. Tiarra is committed to inspiring others in following and fulfilling their God given purpose.

Tiarra is also a devoted mom to a beautiful, growing 16 year old daughter. Her pride and joy! When she’s not working and wearing her entrepreneurial hats she’s actively working out, spending quality time with her daughter and adding stamps to her passport!
